There’s a 100-year-old chestnut tree in Berlin’s Monbjoupark, and recently, it did something other than just stand there looking good — it actually held its own concert.
Chestnuts tend to fall from this tree, being as how it’s a chestnut tree and all. And when they fell on the sound and light installation underneath, they made music. We’re not exactly sure about the mechanism that made that work, but it was probably really cool, the sort of thing that we’re not even going to make fun of, because really, we just wish we’d seen and heard it.
