Two Pennsylvania teens were riding their bikes last weekend when they saw a cute little girl in the front seat of a car. That alone is not too remarkable — but the boys weren’t out for a pleasure ride. They were helping to search for a girl who looked just like this one, and who had been kidnapped from her grandmother’s front yard hours before.
So they went after the car. On their bikes.
“As soon as the guy noticed we were chasing him, he stopped at the end of the hill and let her out,” Temar Boggs, 15, told local news.
The girl, Jocelyn Rojas, was reunited with her family and taken to the hospital to be checked out. The 73-year-old guy who’s been charged with the abduction “served time for abducting and raping another 5-year-old girl in 1989,” CBS reports.
So, bikes: Can we admit now that they are a valid mode of transportation that can even be used to chase down wrongdoers? Also, teen boys: Can we agree that they are not just emo pimple-factories and can actually be complete superheroes?
