Post-superstorm, cell charges are waning and urban dwellers are getting cranky. Or are they? It seems there’s some good neighborly cheer happening amidst the flood waters, as drawn here by Kate Beaton.
Elsewhere in New York City, the direct-action group Time’s Up has also been providing bike-generated charges on the streets, to the surprise and delight of locals.

We already know freak storms like Sandy will become less freaky and more normal in the coming years, but what about bike-generated recovery? Can we make that normal too?
